Description

Lead the architectural transition and development of microservices-based systems in Massachusetts.

You will own the release pipeline and technical strategy for legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of legacy monolithic applications into microservice-based architectures.
• Perform technical assessments of current system states to guide architectural decisions.
• Design and develop Spring Boot and Spring Cloud applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Write and maintain production-quality code as a hands-on contributor.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing and deploying microservices.
• Deep expertise in J2EE-based applications.
• Advanced proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs with JSON.
• Solid understanding of SOA, EAI, and EIP patterns.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems such as BitBucket.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Service Mesh implementations.
