Description

Design and implement Microsoft 365 service integration architectures with a focus on modern collaboration services.

You will own the technical direction for M365, SharePoint, and Power Platform ecosystems across multi-year implementations. You provide architectural guidance to leadership, mentor engineering staff, and manage problem escalation. You generate design artifacts for governance and perform gap analyses to align solutions with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design M365 service integration architectures and modern collaboration services.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership and development teams during Proof of Concepts and long-term implementations.
• Generate and maintain architectural design artifacts to support governance and operational excellence.
• Perform gap analysis and develop solutions based on current business needs.
• Oversee daily engineering activities, mentor staff, and manage problem escalation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture and engineering for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platforms.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Identity Access Management, and Purview.
• Deep understanding of Security/Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, and Microsoft Information Protection.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 design, deployment, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, network infrastructure (DNS/DHCP, routing), and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Solutions and Office Cloud Policy.
• Knowledge of ITIL foundational and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build technical artifacts with business teams.
• MCP or higher certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise security including TLS, SMTP over TLS, certificates, and HSM.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, Modern Authentication, and Kerberos.
• Experience with network security components like load balancers and firewalls.
