Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Microsoft Power Platform including environment management, data connectors, custom connector governance, DLP policies and capacity planning.
  • Build, maintain and support the Power Platform Centre of Excellence toolkit to drive adoption, governance and visibility.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, compliance configurations and data loss prevention across Power Platform and M365.
  • Manage and optimize M365 cloud services including mailbox lifecycle management, mail-flow rules, transport policies and webmail access restrictions.
  • Manage Entra ID accounts, permissions, custom admin roles, MFA, PIM and RBAC across M365, Entra ID, Power Platform and Azure resources.
  • Manage retention policies, litigation holds and e-Discovery searches for compliance and legal requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, usage, health, spam filtering, threat protection and email compliance to produce reports and recommendations.
  • Monitor and manage backup platform reports on the AvePoint backup platform for data protection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues while producing clear documentation.
  • Stay current with the Microsoft roadmap and proactively plan for platform changes and updates.
  • Mentor and upskill team members, sharing knowledge and bringing the wider team along as the platform evolves.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational standards for service management and governance.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT specialist or equivalent role with a strong Microsoft 365 and Windows focus. Strong experience administering the Microsoft Power Platform, including environment lifecycle, DLP policies, data connectors and governance. Experience with Entra ID, including access management, identity governance, conditional access policies, PIM and RBAC is advantageous. Deep technical knowledge of M365 applications and services, including administration and troubleshooting
