Description

Support existing pension system modules and develop new client/server functionality for migration from legacy mainframe to a modern Microsoft platform.

Responsibilities

• Translate granular user requirements into actionable user stories, designs, and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement C# applications based on business and enterprise functional requirements.
• Execute the full software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and production implementation.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and fix software defects and bugs within existing applications.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and security standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing C# applications.
• 5+ years of experience with .NET framework, Entity Framework, and Microsoft technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design, software architecture, and layered application architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, TFS, and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience developing Windows desktop applications using WPF, XAML, and C#.
• 3+ years of experience with client/server application design using WCF and SOA architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, stored procedures, and RDBMS concepts using MS SQL Server and SSMS.
• 3+ years of experience with unit testing and integration testing using frameworks like NUnit or MSTest.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum or iterative development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and implementing pension systems or accounting/general ledger systems.
• Experience with Aspose, Syncfusion UI components, or web technologies including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience using Git or Azure DevOps for application packaging and version control.
