Description

You own the end-to-end delivery, architecture, and operations of enterprise APIs on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Azure APIs and applications in Python, utilizing Functions, Service Bus, Kubernetes, and Key Vault.
• Lead the migration of legacy integrations to Azure APIM, including refactoring, validating parity, and coordinating cutover.
• Implement API-led and event-driven integration patterns, securing APIs with OAuth 2.0, Entra, and mTLS policies.
• Troubleshoot production issues, establish actionable observability using Splunk, and prioritize support tasks.
• Champion engineering quality by mentoring others, automating CI/CD processes, and using GenAI assistants like GitHub Copilot.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in an enterprise development environment with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure integration and API management.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing in Python.
• Deep knowledge of Azure APIM, including policy implementation, client certificate management, and API governance.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu, and Azure CLI.
• Proficiency in automating CI/CD processes and using source control tools like GitLab.
• Ability to build and secure APIs, troubleshoot using Azure monitoring, and establish observability in external tools like Splunk.
• Experience developing containerized Azure Functions and deploying Azure Kubernetes workloads.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of MuleSoft Runtime and Anypoint Platform.
• Expertise in designing complex data transformations with reusable libraries.
