Description

Design and architect scalable Microsoft Azure solutions for client engagements, driving adoption and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect new cloud solutions and evaluate existing systems for refactoring, reuse, and platforming opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership to implementation teams, ensuring design integrity and mentoring architects and developers on best practices.
• Own technical customer engagements, including Proofs of Concept and architectural design for contract bids.
• Drive the adoption of Microsoft Azure across client projects through hands-on design and guidance.

Required Skills

• Deep experience with Azure architecture, design patterns, Domain Driven Design, and Microservices.
• Strong command of SOLID principles, OOP, and coding standards.
• Expertise in building resilient, scalable multi-site architectures using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with Azure native services: Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs.
• Proficiency in Azure data services including Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience building scalable web applications using WebAPI and RESTful API design.
• Strong background in .NET, .NET Core, and C#.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS, JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Java, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
