Description

Design and implement cloud data security policies and controls across Microsoft Azure environments, partnering with platform teams across Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and audits to identify and remediate data vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and respond to data security incidents, conducting root cause analysis.
• Establish repeatable processes for encryption, key management, data masking, and labeling.
• Integrate data security into the cloud development lifecycle and DevOps processes.
• Enforce policies for data access, retention, and deletion to ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically within Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure data protection, encryption methods, and IAM.
• Proficiency with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Information Protection and Microsoft Identity Access Management.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems, including creating and refining alerting searches.
• Technical proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and data lakes.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Security Technologies certifications.
