Description

You will provide Windows engineering support, focusing on building, patching, and troubleshooting Windows servers for enterprise systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations, management, and maintenance of SCCM, including the development of application packages and Task Sequences for PXE imaging.
• Manage monthly security patch distribution using SCCM and WSUS integration across dev/test and production environments.
• Automate systems administration tasks by writing PowerShell scripts.
• Administer Windows devices through Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and registry management.
• Support server infrastructure across multiple datacenter locations, including on-premises and cloud environments.
• Act as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues and resolve failed update installations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows engineering and systems administration.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server OS, including W2K12R2, W2K16, W2K19, and W2K22.
• Expert proficiency with SCCM, including site management, distribution points, and client maintenance.
• Advanced PowerShell and Batch scripting skills for automation and package development.
• Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Extensive experience managing Virtual Hosts and Virtual Servers using the VMware suite.
• Proven ability to remediate server security vulnerabilities and assessment findings.
• Experience with SCCM, VMware, AWS, and Azure Cloud.
• Ability to perform dual-stack and IPv6-only testing of Windows-based systems.
