Description

You will design, administer, and govern the Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring secure, scalable, and performant data architecture for the organization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft Fabric tenant settings, including RBAC, RLS, and OLS to enforce security compliance.
• Design enterprise Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) using Fabric Lakehouses and Warehouses.
• Monitor and optimize Fabric Capacity (F-SKU) usage, resolving throttling and noisy neighbor issues.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git integration for Dev, Test, and Production deployments.
• Integrate Microsoft Purview and Azure Log Analytics for data lineage, governance, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• 1–2 years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric administration and architecture experience.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
• Expertise in OneLake architecture, PySpark, Notebooks, T-SQL, and DAX.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Data Governance, and Security policies.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2.
• Ability to optimize semantic models for DirectLake mode.

Preferred Skills

• Proven expertise in designing enterprise OneLake architectures to eliminate data silos.
• Experience establishing Power BI governance standards and conducting user training.
