Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in data architecture, data integration, data warehousing, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms, with a proven track record in migrating legacy ETL and reporting solutions to modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
Lead migration of Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and legacy ETL workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
Design and develop scalable data ingestion, integration, and transformation pipelines.
Implement orchestration frameworks using Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows, Notebooks, and Pipelines.
Drive data warehouse modernization initiatives and migration to Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse architecture.
Integrate enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), with the target data platform.
Design dimensional models, semantic models, and data marts to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Enable reporting and self-service analytics through Power BI and Fabric-native capabilities.
Establish data governance, security, performance optimization, and best practices across the Fabric ecosystem.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define solution architecture and implementation roadmaps.
Required Skills
10–12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Analytics.
Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Power BI.
Experience in migrating Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SSIS workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design, data integration, and orchestration frameworks.
Experience with data warehouse modernization and cloud migration programs.
Hands-on experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and other enterprise applications.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark-based data processing.
Experience in data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance.
Excellent stakeholder management, solution design, and communication skills.
