Description

Architect and engineer end-to-end data solutions on the Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric, leading solution design and technical standards for engineering teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models, schemas, and dimensional models following data warehouse best practices.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Fabric pipelines, and related Azure services.
• Build big data processing solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
• Lead architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce technical debt.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in SQL, data modeling, and warehouse design.
• 5+ years in cloud-based data engineering, with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric.
• Deep expertise with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure services.
• Strong proficiency in Spark, PySpark, and large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of ETL patterns, data ingestion, orchestration, and pipeline design.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Experience aligning solutions with enterprise architecture roadmaps.
