Description

You will own and deliver project-level Microsoft Fabric implementations, ensuring scalable ingestion, transformation, and serving layers aligned with enterprise architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering Fabric-based ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, SQL Endpoint).
• Guide teams on Lakehouse modeling and medallion architecture.
• Develop and automate pipelines using Fabric Notebooks with Python and SQL.
• Define data validation, unit testing, and quality monitoring strategies while optimizing pipeline performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Module Lead or Technical Lead in data engineering programs.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory, and SQL Endpoint.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for query optimization and complex data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python for notebook development and automation within the Fabric ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and large-scale warehouse design principles.
• Experience defining data governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining technical documentation such as mappings, data dictionaries, and pipeline flows.
