Description

You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise analytics and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft AI Foundry. You define reference architectures combining Lakehouse, Warehouse, and AI agents while establishing best practices for AI-ready data.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Fabric Data Pipelines, Spark/Notebooks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop data agents that reason over enterprise data, automate analytics workflows, and provide conversational insights via Microsoft AI Foundry.
• Lead Power BI semantic model design within Fabric to enable governed self-service analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Define governance standards for data and AI agents, including lineage, sensitivity labeling, and compliance with enterprise security policies.
• Serve as the technical authority for Fabric solutions, mentor engineering teams, and conduct architecture reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in modern data architectures and leadership of enterprise data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Warehouses.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, PySpark, Python, and Spark for data engineering and integration.
• Proven experience integrating Fabric data assets with Microsoft AI Foundry using RAG and agent orchestration patterns.
• Ability to ensure responsible AI and security compliance in data agent development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory for hybrid integration scenarios.
