Description

Architect and deliver end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for modern data platforms.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines using Fabric Data Factory.
• Develop semantic models and analytics solutions using Power BI and Direct Lake.
• Establish data governance frameworks utilizing Microsoft Purview for lineage, classification, and sensitivity labels.
• Lead architecture workshops, technical reviews, and mentor junior engineers on Microsoft Fabric standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Platforms.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake.
• Proficiency in Fabric Data Factory and Pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI, Direct Lake, and Semantic Modeling.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture, and Data Modeling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for Data Governance and Compliance.
• Competency in SQL, PySpark, and Notebooks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing security strategies including RBAC, RLS, and workspace access controls.
• Ability to provide guidance on capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost management.
