Description

You manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft IIS web servers and related components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage websites, web applications, application pools, and virtual directories.
• Implement security settings, including SSL certificates and authentication modes.
• Apply patches, updates, and security fixes to IIS environments.
• Monitor server performance and implement tuning adjustments to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with developers and network administrators to deploy and support web-based applications.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in web server administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft IIS versions including 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, and later.
• Proficiency with .NET, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and AJAX.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, and SFTP.
• Experience with load balancing, clustering, firewall rules, failover, and monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to IIS, web applications, APIs, and server environments.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Degree in any field.
