Microsoft Power Platform Engineer

You manage the operational health and minor enhancements of Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Platform environments, ensuring automated bots and workflows run reliably.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Blue Prism Control Room, queue health, and Power Platform flow runs to ensure continuous operation.
• Perform first-line triage and root-cause analysis for bot failures, application errors, and degraded performance.
• Execute low-complexity configuration changes, including credential updates, queue adjustments, and minor Power Platform workflow fixes.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks for Blue Prism servers, including reboots and patching, per standard schedules.
• Maintain shift-handover logs and proactively escalate exceptions to prevent service disruption.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in technology, preferably within financial services.
• Hands-on experience as an RPA Controller using Blue Prism or UiPath.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C#, Java, Excel VBA, or Python.
• Ability to interpret business process workflow diagrams and conceptualize automated solutions.
• Experience with agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to define projects and objectives clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
