Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server instances, including patch management and version upgrades.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies, covering full, differential, and log backups.
• Perform performance tuning through query optimization and index management to resolve blocking and deadlocks.
• Configure and manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, including AlwaysOn, Clustering, and Log Shipping.
• Monitor SQL Server jobs, alerts, and system health using appropriate monitoring tools.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL for complex queries and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Deep understanding of SQL Server HA/DR concepts and implementation.
• Basic PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.

• Experience with user access control and security management policies.
