Description

You will manage and optimize SQL Server environments in a fully remote capacity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and security.
• Support and troubleshoot database migrations across various hosting platforms.
• Implement security measures, including TDE compliance, to protect data.
• Optimize database performance and manage workloads in AWS/Azure SQL and VM/EC2 environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SQL Server administration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with database design and migration processes.
• Experience managing databases within AWS and Azure environments.
• Proven ability to implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
