Description

Administer and optimize MicroStrategy BI platforms across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade MicroStrategy environments, including Customer Managed Cloud and EKS deployments on AWS.
• Monitor system health, resolve bottlenecks, and implement automation using shell scripting, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Manage security models, including LDAP/Active Directory integration, user roles, and project-level access controls.
• Support MicroStrategy integration with Power BI and oversee data flows between platforms.
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain service levels for enterprise projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years administering and supporting MicroStrategy environments (Developer, Object Manager, Command Manager).
• 5+ years experience with Power BI, including report setup and workspace management.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services: QuickSight, Redshift, Aurora Postgres, and EKS.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Deep understanding of MicroStrategy architecture, security, and administration tools.
• Ability to collaborate with Platform, Database, and infrastructure teams to provision and secure new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• MicroStrategy Customer Managed Cloud and AWS QuickSight experience.
• MicroStrategy and AWS certifications.
