Description

You will deploy, configure, and administer the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server, Web, and Mobile platforms in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure MicroStrategy components across development, testing, and production landscapes, including system parameters, clustering, and security settings.
• Monitor platform performance, ensure high availability, and perform routine maintenance such as patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery operations.
• Administer MicroStrategy platforms hosted on AWS, Azure, or GCP, implementing cloud best practices for scalability, cost optimization, and resource management.
• Analyze performance metrics, tune server configurations, and optimize data access strategies using caching, distribution services, and workload balancing.
• Partner with development and analytics teams to support dashboard creation, resolve incidents, and assist in migrating workloads to cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Administration, including Intelligence Server, Web, Mobile, and Developer.
• Proven experience deploying and managing MicroStrategy in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, storage, identity management, and security.
• Proficiency in SQL, metadata layers, cubes, and data models.
• Experience with scheduling, caching, clustering, and project configuration.
• Ability to manage user accounts, roles, privileges, and security filters with a focus on governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining metadata consistency and validating data connectivity across multiple sources.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and performance dashboards for cloud infrastructure health.
