Description

Manage the administration, configuration, and deployment of the MicroStrategy environment and infrastructure on-site in Hilton, NY.

Responsibilities

• Manage MicroStrategy security, including roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals.
• Implement, test, and document reporting and configuration packages across Dev, QA, and Production.
• Configure web interfaces, Application Server instances, WebSphere profiles, and WebAdmin settings.
• Set up Operations Manager, Enterprise Manager, and monitoring/alerting for infrastructure KPIs.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, cubes, dashboards, and Intelligence Server governing settings.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in MicroStrategy administration and development.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy suite tools: Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, and License Manager.
• Proficiency in SQL query writing and advanced SQL troubleshooting.
• Experience managing MicroStrategy content, including migrating reports, folders, and users.
• Knowledge of capacity sizing and planning for MicroStrategy infrastructure components.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems.
• Ability to build dynamic dashboards, visualizations, and perform metrics auditing.
• Experience working with DBAs to set up and test new data sources.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
