Description

You will design, develop, and support the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence platform and its associated metadata.

Responsibilities

• Build MicroStrategy dashboards, Dossiers, Report Services Documents, and Reports for both Web and Library environments.
• Execute all SDLC phases, including data modeling, project metadata development, and system enhancements.
• Create highly optimized Intelligent Cubes, implement incremental refreshes, and develop complex Datamart reports and Transactional Datasets.
• Troubleshoot data issues using custom SQL, including self-joins and nested queries, to ensure report accuracy.
• Provide production support, platform maintenance, and training to users on BI functionality and reporting objects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing MicroStrategy BI/Analytics solution specifications.
• 5+ years of experience testing enterprise-wide MicroStrategy BI/Analytics applications.
• 11+ years of overall MIS/IT experience.
• Expertise in MicroStrategy Dossiers, Metrics, Filters, and RSD features like selectors and write-back functionality.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
• Ability to manage data relationships, hierarchies, and hybrid data models.
• Proficiency with SDLC processes and technical problem-solving.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Tableau.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and React.
