Description

You will design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions and data models as a remote contract developer.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical design documents.
• Build reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy and other BI tools.
• Design and implement data models, database structures, and ETL pipelines.
• Execute testing activities including unit testing, QA, and support for user acceptance testing.
• Conduct end-user training and provide knowledge transfer of business processes to technical teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience working within a business intelligence team.
• Primary expertise in MicroStrategy for report and dashboard development.
• Proficiency with SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, database concepts, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL pipeline construction.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, coding standards, and source management.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the retail or apparel industry.
