Description

You will design and maintain microwave transport systems and frequency coordination for network implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform microwave path analysis using Pathloss 5, digitized topographic maps, and field surveys.
• Conduct interference studies, channel selection, and frequency coordination via the MICS database.
• Generate engineering design submissions for new microwave transport systems and hardware or software upgrades.
• Prepare license applications and supporting documentation for Industry Canada submissions.
• Provide technical support to Network Operations and vendors during system implementation or fault resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in microwave system design.
• Proficiency with Pathloss 5 for path analysis.
• Experience with microwave path analysis and topography.
• Knowledge of microwave system channel selection and interference studies.
• Ability to manage frequency coordination using the MICS database.
• Experience generating engineering design submissions and work orders.
• Familiarity with Industry Canada license application processes.
