Description

You will own the deployment, maintenance, and configuration of the Security Orchestration Automation & Response (SOAR) solution within a 24x7x365 federal security operation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements to translate business needs into effective SOAR designs for a federal cloud environment.
• Configure SOAR in alignment with DISA STIG and CIS Benchmark requirements.
• Develop dashboards and reports related to SOAR operations.
• Manage support cases, tracking and resolving issues with thorough documentation in the ticketing system.
• Conduct multi-vendor troubleshooting and provide post-sales technical support and configuration guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant working experience, including 3+ years in SOAR Engineering/administration.
• 2+ years managing SOAR within a Federal environment.
• Strong analytical proficiency and troubleshooting ability in Linux.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, JavaScript (JS), or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, and NIST.
• Understanding of enterprise, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with security concepts like IAM, VPN, and NextGen firewalls.
• DoD Approved 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIA) required.
