Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based software applications while owning the full development lifecycle and quality releases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications based on customer specifications.
• Build database ERD models and handle large data volumes in Oracle and MS-SQL.
• Create software design documents, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform SQL tuning and optimize database performance for enterprise applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and the full JEE stack (JDBC, JSP, Servlets).
• 5+ years of SQL experience with proven skills in SQL tuning and query optimization.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and MS-SQL Stored Procedures.
• Experience configuring the Spring Framework and building enterprise-level JEE applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML5 for frontend integration.
• Experience with version control tools (SVN, Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing SOAP or RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
• Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and issue management.
