Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and structures to transform raw traffic and user behavior data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance data pipelines handling large volumes of traffic and user behavior data.
• Develop prototypes to validate data pipeline strategies and product concepts.
• Partner with BI, Research, Engineering, and Product teams to define ingestion, structure, and storage approaches.
• Lead projects from inception to completion while mentoring junior team members on data best practices.
• Extract patterns from large datasets using statistical analysis and visualization to create informational advantages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or digital analytics consulting.
• 3+ years of experience with BigQuery, including query optimization and warehouse cost management.
• Strong proficiency in writing SQL for complex analysis and transformations.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and ELT processes.
• Expertise in data modeling for performant table structures.
• Experience building and deploying applications on GCP.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or AWS.
