Description

You will develop C++ software for industrial network protocols, control systems, and desktop applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and implement C++ code for industrial automation and control systems.
• Organize and document software requirements and implementation plans.
• Participate in code reviews and assist with hardware-level system testing.
• Evaluate and document requests for system improvements.
• Analyze problems and provide solutions during troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Git.
• Experience writing code for industrial network protocols and control systems.
• Experience developing desktop applications.
• Background in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
• B.S. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Controls, Electronics Engineering/Technology, or a related ABET-accredited field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently and assist in creating engineering work processes.
