Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable Java RESTful services and microservices for external client systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain API endpoints and backend microservices.
• Create technical designs and translate detailed requirements into functional system specifications.
• Develop and execute unit tests for Java RESTful services integrating with external clients.
• Review design documents, providing feedback on approaches and effort estimates.
• Research and recommend functional libraries to accelerate development cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and building RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and Git for version control and CI/CD.
• Experience with uDeploy or similar deployment tools.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of API standards and integration patterns.
• Experience prioritizing work to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps toolchains beyond Jenkins and Git.
• Background in designing large-scale distributed systems.
