Job Summary

• The automotive finance industry is evolving rapidly, requiring organizations to respond quickly to changing business needs, technology advancements, and customer expectations. Traditional manual testing and slower development cycles are no longer sufficient to support the increasing velocity of software delivery.
• We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Automation QA Engineer to help modernize and accelerate our quality assurance practices. This role will focus on leveraging test automation, AI-powered tools, and modern development technologies to improve testing efficiency, quality, and speed.
• The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can think creatively, challenge traditional testing approaches, and identify smarter and faster ways to ensure software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications and business systems.
• Leverage AI tools and prompt engineering to identify innovative, efficient, and scalable approaches to software testing.
• Develop effective prompts and workflows using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or similar technologies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing efforts through automation and AI-driven solutions.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, and Selenium.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support faster and more reliable software releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to improve overall software quality.
• Utilize GitHub and modern version-control practices to manage automation code and testing assets.
• Analyze testing challenges, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation tools to improve testing practices.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership within the QA and testing function.
• Communicate testing strategies, risks, results, and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar test automation frameworks.
• Experience building or supporting automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using GitHub and version-control practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering, including platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or similar technologies.
• Ability to leverage AI to identify new and improved approaches to testing and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and outside traditional processes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive finance, financial services, or highly regulated industry.
• Experience with additional test automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of API testing and automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development or testing tools.
• Relevant software testing certifications.
• Experience leading automation initiatives or mentoring QA team members
