Description

You will engineer and maintain Linux/Unix system administration solutions to support operational and project requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, rebuild, and configure servers, hardware, peripherals, storage, and services according to established standards.
• Implement and manage virtualization platforms and handle storage management tasks across multiple vendor platforms.
• Maintain systems supporting R&D activities, including EDA tool configuration and FlexLM license management.
• Perform security patch management, system monitoring, backup operations, and Tier III troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain software instances including Jira, Git, LDAP, and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM.
• Experience with storage management systems including Netapp, Dell/EMC, and PureStorage.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Foreman deployment and system inventory systems like GLPI.
• Knowledge of network equipment management including Cisco and MellanoX.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting EDA tools and software issues.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Git, LDAP, and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
