Description

Manage and maintain Kafka, ELK, and Gemfire clusters in a production environment. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own environment builds, including design, capacity planning, and cluster setup.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ongoing monitoring for Kafka, ELK, and Gemfire.
• Execute day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for all clusters.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience managing Kafka, ELK, and Gemfire clusters.
• Strong proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with cluster design and capacity planning.
• Proven ability to perform performance tuning and troubleshooting in production.
• Background in environment builds and cluster setup.
• Degree in any field of study.
