Middleware Administrator

You will manage, monitor, and tune Tibco and Kafka middleware platforms to ensure high availability and stability.

Responsibilities

• Install, patch, monitor, and performance tune Tibco software and Kafka platforms.
• Provide 24x7 third-level support and perform root cause analysis in coordination with vendors.
• Develop Hawk rules, Confluent monitoring, Grafana, and Prometheus automation for self-tuning and outage avoidance.
• Execute implementation processes including pre/post-validation and backout procedures.
• Maintain platform security by applying CIS patching and adhering to compliance and audit requirements.
• Provide backup support for IBM MQ, SNS/SQS, and Redis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware administration.
• Expertise in Tibco Suite (BW5, BW6, ActiveSpaces, EMS, iProcess).
• Administration of Confluent product suite (ZooKeeper, Broker, Control Center, Connect, Replicator, Schema Registry).
• Proficiency in Windows, AIX, Unix, and Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS tools and Kafka latest versions.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
• Knowledge of JVM, thread analysis, and core dump reading.
• Experience with JAVA, RDBMS, and SQL.
• Competency with Jenkins, GIT, Splunk, Zenoss, SOAP, and API management.
• Familiarity with adapters including ADB, MQ, Salesforce, ActiveSpaces, CICS, and File adapters.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with migration to Tibco iProcess 11.8, BW 5.14, 6.8, and EMS 10.x.
• Knowledge of AppD and ServiceNow or Jira.
