Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise systems across multi-tier and multi-platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer WebSphere Application Server and containerized application platforms on Linux and AIX.
• Manage cloud system administration across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Maintain highly available vertical and horizontal scaling and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Support application development, implementation, and deployment including web services and data integration.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware or system administration.
• Advanced administration of WebSphere Application Server.
• Proficiency with Unix, Linux, AIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and Google cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Bitbucket.
• Version control expertise using Git and Subversion.
• Knowledge of Single Sign On, network load balancers, firewalls, and IP subnets.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Azure Monitor.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of storage subsystems, messaging, and transformation techniques.
