Description

You will manage enterprise middleware, cloud, and containerized platforms as a Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy WebSphere application servers on AIX and Linux, including upgrades, patches, and security fixes.
• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Monitor application and system performance to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues.
• Automate tasks by writing and deploying shell scripts.
• Coordinate releases with internal stakeholders and communicate deployment schedules.

Required Skills

• 12 years of relevant experience in enterprise system administration.
• Advanced administration of WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Strong administration skills in Linux, AIX, and Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration and platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Maven.
• Experience with middleware and messaging tools such as MuleSoft and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of web servers including Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and IIS.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, DynaTrace, and Azure Monitor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting SaaS products like Adobe Enterprise or MuleSoft Cloud Integration.
• Knowledge of Salesforce administration.
