Description

You will administer, optimize, and support IBM webMethods integration platforms across multiple environments. You will own production stability, incident resolution, and performance tuning for critical middleware components.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch IBM webMethods components including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Command Central, and My webMethods Server.
• Manage DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Handle production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution using log, heap, and thread dump analysis.
• Perform JVM tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning to maintain system stability.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks using scripting and Command Central while managing SSL certificates, LDAP, and access controls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM webMethods Administration.
• Strong proficiency with MWS, Integration Server, and Universal Messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Understanding of SSL certificate management, LDAP integration, and user role/ACL management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with webMethods Designer and coding.
• Familiarity with cloud/hybrid integration platforms and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• webMethods certifications.
