Description

You will manage and support middleware infrastructure within a 24/7 production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server (7.x/8.x/9.x) and Portal Server on Linux and Windows.
• Deploy J2EE applications including EAR, WAR, and JAR files.
• Configure WebSphere resources such as JDBC Providers, Data Sources, and JMS Queues.
• Manage IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and Apache Web Server, including plugin configuration and management.
• Perform troubleshooting using PING tests, TCP connection tests, packet captures, log analysis, JVM heap/thread dumps, and tools like IBM Heap Analyzer.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in middleware administration.
• Expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server, Portal Server, and WCS.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ, DataPower, Infosphere Server, Documentum, and WebSphere Interchange Server.
• Experience installing IBM Maximo Asset Management on Linux and Windows.
• Proficiency with DataPower services including Web service proxy, Multiprotocol gateway, XML firewall, and Web application firewall.
• Deep understanding of JVM internals, including Web container, EJB container, and JNDI.
• Ability to analyze SystemOut.log, SystemErr.log, FFDC logs, and http_plugin.log.
• Knowledge of WCBD ant scripts and Data loader.
• Strong skills in JDBC Providers, Data Sources, and JMS Queues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying fix packs and feature packs on WCS.
• Experience creating new stores in WCS.
