Description

Act as a Middleware Subject Matter Expert defining, building, and supporting architecture for application development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical solutions, including service proposals and pricing for customer projects.
• Define, position, and design middleware administration solutions involving WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss.
• Participate in customer meetings to determine business and technical requirements for solution development.
• Provide architecture support, standards, production control, and application server administration.
• Manage vendor relationships and engage local vendors for technical assistance and support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application server administration, specifically WebLogic and WebSphere.
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX architecture and the UNIX file system.
• Proficiency with Korn shell.
• Experience with IBM MQ, OpenShift, and OCP.
• Ability to create and manage UNIX profiles and navigate the command line.
• Experience with Middleware, JBoss, and Perl scripting.
• Proven leadership skills to coordinate with multiple support and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bash, WLST, and Perl scripting.
