Description

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert to define, build, and support architecture and tools for application development teams.

Responsibilities

• Define, position, and design middleware administration solutions involving WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss.
• Participate in customer meetings to determine technical requirements and develop solution alternatives.
• Design technical solutions and develop services proposal content and pricing for customer projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and engage local vendors for technical assistance and support.
• Provide architecture support, standards, production control, and application server administration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Server Administration, specifically WebLogic and WebSphere.
• Expertise in UNIX environments from an architectural perspective.
• Proficiency with Korn shell (required).
• In-depth understanding of the UNIX file system.
• Ability to create and manage UNIX profiles and navigate via command line.
• Experience with Open Shift and IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of JBoss.
• Leadership experience working across multiple support and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bash scripting.
• WLST and Perl scripting.
