Description

You will define, build, and support middleware architecture and tools for application development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and position middleware administration solutions for WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss.
• Participate in customer meetings to define technical requirements and develop solution alternatives.
• Provide architecture support, standards, production control, and application server administration.
• Manage vendor relationships and engage local vendors for technical assistance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Server Administration, specifically WebLogic and WebSphere.
• Expertise in UNIX environments from an architectural perspective.
• Proficiency with Korn shell (required).
• In-depth understanding of the UNIX file system.
• Ability to create and manage UNIX profiles and navigate via command line.
• Experience with OpenShift and IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of JBoss.
• Leadership experience working across multiple support and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bash scripting.
• WLST and Perl scripting.
