Description

You will act as an individual contributor within the middleware team to build and support customer-facing applications across complex business environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate middleware infrastructure using code with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Own capacity specifications, quality, release deployments, and production health monitoring.
• Instrument application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, and KPI metrics.
• Perform impact assessments for hardware/software upgrades, patching, migrations, and hot fixes.
• Troubleshoot critical production and non-production application and infrastructure issues to provide root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware environments.
• Experience working with various middleware application servers and containers, ranging from monolithic to modern versions.
• Proficiency in Shell, Perl, or Python scripting to implement changes in pipelines.
• Ability to diagnose common deployment failures such as memory issues, disk capacity, missing libraries, or certificate errors.
• Experience planning and executing projects across Regression, Performance, and Production environments.
• Strong technical documentation skills for README files, implementation details, and release handovers.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership, Product, and Test Automation to scope and sequence middleware requirements.
