Description

You will design and develop complex middleware integration solutions using the IBM stack.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop middleware interfaces by reviewing technical requirements and project documentation.
• Break down complex requirements into actionable units of work for individual contributors.
• Create project deliverables including high and low-level design documents, API contracts, and automation test plans.
• Design microservices following principles of high cohesion, autonomous scope, and centralized monitoring.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to develop services and coordinate tasks between onshore and offshore resources.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in middleware integration projects using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM MQ, and IBM DataPower.
• 2+ years of experience using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and IIB/WMB.
• Solid Linux/Unix skills.
• Experience with version control tools such as GIT or Perforce.
• Experience working within banking domains.
• Knowledge of file and message formats including SWIFT, CAMT, XML, BAI2, CSV, and MTXXX.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HTTP REST and WebService protocols (JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP).
• Familiarity with Web service tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or Parasoft SOA.
• Ability to write SQL queries in DB2 or Oracle.
