Description

You will manage and support middleware infrastructure in a 24x7 production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer WebSphere, WebSphere Liberty, JBoss/Wildfly, Tomcat, and WebLogic application servers.
• Manage Apache, IBM HTTP Server, Nginx, and IIS web servers.
• Execute application migrations between middleware technologies and handle server patching.
• Automate middleware installations and patching using Rundeck, Ansible, or Salt Stack.
• Troubleshoot SSL certificate issues and analyze load test results for performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering, production support, or administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive administration of WebSphere, WebSphere Liberty, JBoss/Wildfly, Tomcat, and WebLogic.
• Deep knowledge of Apache, IBM HTTP Server, Nginx, and IIS.
• Hands-on scripting with Shell and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git, Maven, Eclipse, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Splunk for log parsing and Dynatrace for performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of RedHat Linux, Windows, and AIX operating systems.
• Solid grasp of network protocols including DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, and SMTP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rundeck or Salt Stack for automation.
• Root cause analysis using Java heap, thread, and TCP dumps.
