Description

You will manage and maintain messaging infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Solace PubSub+ and Apache Kafka clusters.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for messaging platforms.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and throughput optimization for messaging workloads.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripting and IaC tools.
• Lead root cause analysis for middleware incidents and maintain detailed operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Middleware Engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Solace PubSub+ and Apache Kafka architecture and operational management.
• Strong proficiency in scripting using Python and Shell.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Experience managing Linux/Unix environments and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Kafka Manager, and Solace Monitor.
• Knowledge of messaging security, RBAC, TLS, and compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, HIPAA).
• Proven ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
