Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and administer IBM MQ Queue Managers across enterprise environments.
• Manage MQ objects including queues, channels, listeners, and topics.
• Monitor MQ infrastructure and resolve performance and connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain MQ clustering, high availability, and multi-instance queue managers.
• Implement security configurations including SSL/TLS, CHLAUTH, OAM, and certificate management.
• Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and failover testing.
• Troubleshoot message flow, channel failures, and MQ connectivity issues.
• Support production deployments and application onboarding activities.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure platform reliability.
• Participate in incident, problem, change management, and on-call support activities.

Experience Required:

• 8+ years of experience in Middleware and IBM MQ administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ (v8.x/v9.x preferred).
• Experience in MQ configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of MQ clustering and high-availability setups.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Understanding of SSL/TLS, MQ security, and certificate management.
• Experience with scripting using Shell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or IBM MQ Explorer.
