Description

You will own the middleware infrastructure for IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer IBM CP4BA on-premises and on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Manage middleware components including WebSphere, DB2/Oracle, MQ, FileNet, and LDAP integrations.
• Execute patches, upgrades, and hotfixes for IBM BAW while minimizing downtime.
• Implement and monitor HA/DR solutions for the middleware layer.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience with 3+ years supporting IBM BAW/BPM in production.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Deep knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, and IBM MO.
• Proficiency with databases: DB2, Oracle, Postgres, and Elastic Search.
• Experience with containerization platforms: Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Monitoring and observability tools: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Splunk.
• Automation and CI/CD: Jenkins, Ansible, Bash/PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes using JIRA and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
