Description

You will define, build, and support the middleware architecture and tools used by application development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and present middleware administration solutions involving WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss.
• Participate in customer meetings to determine business and technical requirements for solution development.
• Develop technical design solutions and assist with services proposal content and pricing.
• Manage vendor relationships and engage local vendors for technical support.
• Provide architecture support, standards, production control, and application server administration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Server Administration.
• Specific expertise in WebLogic and WebSphere.
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX environments, architecture, and the file system.
• Proficiency with the UNIX command line and ability to create and manage UNIX profiles.
• Required proficiency in Korn shell scripting.
• Experience with JBoss.
• Leadership skills to coordinate with multiple support and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bash, WLST, and Perl scripting.
