Description

You will act as the primary Database Administrator, supporting application development teams through design advisory, implementation, and database optimization.

Responsibilities

• Advise development teams on database design and implement optimized solutions for high-value applications.
• Manage database upgrades across Windows and Linux environments.
• Develop self-service and automation tools using PowerShell to reduce manual processing.
• Handle database replication, stored procedures, and SQL performance tuning.
• Support highly concurrent applications through advanced troubleshooting and design.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in database administration or engineering.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning and database design.
• Deep knowledge of Always On and Clustering technologies.
• Hands-on experience migrating SQL Servers from on-premise to Cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell.
• Experience managing databases on Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Degree in any field of study.
