Description

You will design, develop, and maintain middleware and firmware components for embedded systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware and middleware components for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with application developers and stakeholders to define system requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot software and firmware issues to resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Write technical documentation, including design documents, code documentation, and test cases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in middleware and firmware development.
• Proficiency in Embedded C.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.
• Experience with hardware interfaces including CAN, J1939, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Background in driver development or platform development.
• Experience using industry-grade microcontrollers, development environments, and debugging tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ARM Cortex or similar Automotive/Off-highway microcontrollers and toolchains.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git, and SVN.
• Experience with Linux and Windows platforms.
