Description

You will design, build, and automate middleware platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate middleware platforms for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and Database teams to implement platform rollouts.
• Develop reusable infrastructure and middleware design patterns.
• Automate daily support functions to improve system stability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate non-functional requirement testing sign-offs with development and business teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an application or middleware specialist.
• Expert-level Python and Shell scripting skills.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Unix, Storage, and Networking.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, web servers (Apache, Nginx), and application servers (Tomcat).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Proficiency with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with IT Automation and Configuration Management tools such as Ansible and Helm.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Flux.
• Familiarity with security hardening, transport encryption, and SSO authentication mechanisms.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, or Airflow.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Loki.
• Knowledge of identity management protocols including OIDC, OAuth, SAML, or LDAP.
